can I do this simulation ?

Hello,

I would like to simulate an air compressor process. This is a piston-type compressor with valves and clearance seal. I would like to simulate the gas processes including leakage, including heat transfer between all components, temperature of the components, and the stress in all the compoenents. Is this possible to do with the tools available with this code?

If you know the governing PDEs and the finite element method then
chance is good that you can implement this.

You have sketched the actual problem as well as the information you wish to extract from a simulation, but you have told us little about yourself or the context of your project.

FEniCS is open source software, so with sufficient heart (aka work), it can be made to do whatever you want, but it might not be realistic to achieve your goals with the time you have available.
