Fenics problem on Ubuntu

Hi

I have tried to use fenics on an ubuntu virtualbox, but get an error when running the python poisson-demo. It says:

Error: Unable to write to file
Unable to open file poisson.pvd for writing.

Could someone help?

Maybe you don't have write permission. Have you tried it with sudo?

The easiest way to run FEniCs is using docker, checking the link
