Shallow Water Simulation Model

Hi,
I am a research student from the University of Colombo School of Computing - Sri Lanka. I am working on an undergraduate project to develop a real time mathematical model for simulating shallow water ocean waves. I am trying to base my research on Navier Strokes Equations.

Initially I have to implement an existing Navier Strokes Implementation. Whilst searching I came across your project.

Can you please guide me as to how the Fenics project might be able to help me? I have downloaded you book.

Also do you'll have an implementation of the Shallow Water Equations Derived from the Navier Strokes??

You can wrote a shallow water solver. Just formulate your weak form and program it in the same way as the demos with DOLFIN.
