Magnetostatics and magnetodynamics problems

0 votes

I would like to run some simulations as in the title.

Does someone of you know some benchmark tests so I can work with ? I refer to simple examples with simples meshes. In particular I would like to work first on magnetostatic cases and then passing to magnetodynamics ones (curl-curl problems, Nedelec elements and so on...).

I think the simplest example could be a current carrying wire. I would like to see the lines of the magnetic field forming around it. Can someone help me? (I don't know what kind of boundary conditions I should set...neither how to implement a 3d geometry seeing that the current should pass just in the wire but I would like to see the H field out of it...)

FEniCS provides all the tools to solve MHD problems.

This Q&A forum is for specific questions on FEniCS rather than general finite element or modelling questions, so your questions is off-topic.
