Different meshes in one problem

0 votes

Hello there,

I want to ask you about meshes.

I have a reservoir mesh, and it's consist of three parts(three .xml files).
Each part have a physical surfaces and physical volume.

So, I want to solve some simple diffusion problem in this mesh,
for example heated from the bottom and cooled from the top
(or heated from the right and cooled from the left).
Of course, with different coefficient of thermal conductivity for each part.

How can I "connect" the boundary surfaces between parts?

Meshes

Mixed function space not work, beacause meshes are different.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

P.S: My english is very bad. I'm sorry.
