Is there a demo of 2D wave equation in FEniCS with absorbing boundary conditions

0 votes

Hello,

After getting comfortable with some basic fenics demos, I am trying to make a 2D wave equation code with ABC, and I could trace from some old launchpad questions that there was a demo earlier but it was not included in the current documentation. Or maybe I missed it. Is anyone aware of such demo? or does anyone have a non-copyrighted working 2D wave equation code for learning purposes. I' ll be grateful for any help in this regard.

I am also working on a draft myself and will post it later for helpful suggestions and solving difficult errors.

Thanks a lot!

Hi,
I am not aware of any wave equation demo, but Dealii has one, which you might be interested in.

and also, in the fenics QA:

Thank you qiangzini for your input. Highly appreciate it. I wonder why I didn't get any email about this comment!
